The Church of St Peter and St Paul is a Grade I listed parish church in East Drayton. This contract consisted of the removal and replacement of incorrectly installed slate roof, with new Welsh blue slates at correct sizes and associates repairs. This project was unique because it required the stripping of an existing slate roof that had not been installed for very many years. Having had the wrong size slates installed, the roof leaked and caused damage to the timber rafters and lime plaster ceilings. With the correct slates for the pitch of the roof installed, the repairs were undertaken by skilled heritage workers.
