St Leonard's Church is a Grade I listed building in the Parish of Little Downham, Ely. C.E.L Group (1989) Ltd were appointed again as the Main contractor of this project, co-ordinating carefully selected trades to provide a smooth transition of works. With the replacement of the existing floor area, the new steel floor had to be fabricated to accommodate the various dimensions of the tower and existing access. This includes bespoke fitment to the masonry and timber structures within. The works included; Installation of new floor area above the bell chamber, including a new access ladder to the Tower roof, removal repair and replacement of the oak louvres, masonry repairs and managing the refurbishment of the clock faces.
